Terms of service

These terms apply when you book an appliance repair with pink ideas repairs, a trading name of Pink Ideas (Pty) Ltd. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

Booking and arrival

You can book on WhatsApp, by phone on 061 402 6299 or through the booking form. We confirm the visit with you before a technician is sent. Typically at your door within 60 minutes for same-day bookings. Arrival times are an estimate, not a guarantee.

The call-out rule

No call-out fee when we repair it. If no repair is done, a R500 call-out applies.

"No repair is done" includes when you decide not to go ahead after the technician has explained the fault and the price, and when you choose to replace the appliance instead. See how the call-out works.

Quotes before work

The technician explains the fault, the repair and what it will cost before any work starts. No repair work is done without your approval. If the work turns out to need more than was quoted, we stop and ask you before going further.

Access and safety

Please make sure someone is home to let the technician in, that the appliance can be reached, and that pets are kept away from the work area. The technician may decline to work in conditions that are unsafe.

Cancelling or moving a visit

If you need to cancel or move a visit, let us know as soon as you can on WhatsApp or by phone.
