Bosch is a German brand known for its dishwashers, washing machines, fridges and ovens, many of them built in to match the kitchen. Appliances like these are worth repairing: the parts that fail are usually pumps, valves, heaters, seals, sensors and door locks, and a built-in replacement has to match the same space and panel.
We're an independent repair business, not a Bosch service centre. If your appliance is still under the manufacturer's warranty, start with Bosch or the shop where you bought it. Once it's out of warranty, the technician comes to you, reads any error code, finds the fault and tells you what the repair will cost before any work starts.
Which Bosch appliance needs fixing?
Bosch dishwashers
Two Bosch dishwasher codes come up often. E15 means water has been detected in the base of the machine, which triggers the anti-flood protection: there's a leak somewhere inside, from a hose, the sump or a seal. E24 points to a drain problem, usually a blocked filter, a kinked drain hose or a blocked sink connection.
Switch the machine off at the wall and clean the filter first. For E15, the leak itself has to be found and fixed, and the base dried out, before the machine will run normally again. Tilting the machine to drain the base hides the symptom without fixing the leak. See dishwasher repairs.
Bosch washing machines, fridges and ovens
Bosch washing machines share the common front-loader faults: drain pumps, door locks, heaters, inlet valves and door seals. Bosch fridges, including integrated models, come down to fans, sensors, defrost parts and seals. Bosch built-in ovens need elements, fan motors, thermostats, door seals and, on some models, cooling fans. See washing machine repairs, fridge repairs and oven repairs.
No call-out fee when we repair it.If no repair is done, a R500 call-out applies. The technician finds the fault and explains the repair before any work starts, so you decide whether to go ahead.

How do I clear the E15 error on my Bosch dishwasher?
E15 means water has been found in the base of the machine and the leak protection has switched on. Close the tap, switch the dishwasher off, and check the hoses and the floor around it for a leak. The code won't clear for good until the leak is found and fixed and the base is dry, which is a repair: book a technician.
Where is the reset button on a Bosch dishwasher?
Most Bosch dishwashers don't have a separate reset button. On many models, pressing and holding Start for a few seconds cancels the programme and pumps the water out, which works as a reset; the manual for your model gives the exact steps. If the panel won't respond, switch off at the wall or the isolator for a minute. Still stuck? Book a technician.
Why is my Bosch dishwasher leaking?
Usually a worn door seal, a loose or split hose, a blocked filter that makes water back up, or too much foam from the wrong detergent. On a Bosch, a leak into the base often shows up as the E15 code. Close the tap, switch off, dry the floor and check the hoses you can see, then book a technician to find the source.
How long should a Bosch washing machine last?
There's no fixed number: it depends on the model, how often it runs and how it's looked after. Cleaning the pump filter, not overloading the drum and leaving the door open between washes all help. When something fails, weigh that repair against the machine's age: try our repair or replace check.
How much does Bosch charge for a call-out?
Bosch sets its own service charges, so check with Bosch directly. Ours: no call-out fee when we repair it. If no repair is done, a R500 call-out applies. See how the call-out works.
Are you a Bosch service centre?
No. We're an independent repairer working on Bosch appliances once they're out of warranty.
